Recognition over time signals what truly matters — SCM06

Scientific publication establishes credibility.
Recognition over time signals what endures.

We are honoured to see the Croucher Foundation spotlight research led by Professor Siew Ng and Professor Francis Chan, co-founders of G-NiiB GenieBiome, on SCM06, a microbiome-based approach for children with autism spectrum disorder.

Originally published in a leading scientific journal, this work is now being recognised beyond its initial context — reflecting growing attention to the gut–brain axis as an emerging clinical pathway.

As an independent research foundation, Croucher plays a unique role in identifying and sharing the scientific directions that continue to matter.

When research is revisited in this way, it reflects not just validation, but relevance that endures over time.

In autism, where treatment options remain limited, this therapeutic approach offers a new perspective - that microbiome science may provide an additional biological dimension for emotional and sensory regulation.

This direction is gaining global recognition, including a Gold Medal with Jury Congratulations at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, alongside honours from IIFME and IFIA.

At G-NiiB GenieBiome, we remain committed to advancing gut microbiome science across autism and broader indications, and translating research into real-world impact.
